The Old Sam’s Laff-a-lot is located on the North Shore of Prince Edward Island at Stanhope Beach. Listed right are the directions to Old Sam’s Laff-a-Lot from the Confederation Bridge and the scenic drive from the Wood Islands Ferry. A link to Google Maps showing the way is at the bottom right.

Confederation Bridge: From the Confederation Bridge take the Trans Canada Highway, Route No. 1 East, to Charlottetown.  Turn left after you pass the University of Prince Edward Island onto Route No. 2 East. Turn left again onto Route 25. Follow Route 25 through the Village of York, past MacMillan's Store, bear left on Route 25 at the corner after you pass the Stanhope Garage. The Stanhope Golf and Country club will be on your left as you stay on Route 25 and approach the scenic Covehead Bay. Take Bayshore Rd. 1.2 km past the golf course to Bayview Rd., take Bayview Rd. 200 yds through the community entrance (white fence) to Old Sam Rd. Turn right and we are the first cottage on left.

If you are arriving from the Wood Islands Ferry: take the Trans Canada Highway No. 1 West to Charlottetown. Turn right onto the Charlottetown bypass at the traffic lights after you cross the Hillsborough Bridge. Continue on the bypass as you drive past the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on your right, turn right onto Route 2 East and then turn left onto Route 25. Follow Route 25 through the Village of York, past MacMillan's Store, bear left on Route 25 at the corner after you pass the Stanhope Garage. The Stanhope Golf and Country club will be on your left as you stay on Route 25 and approach the scenic Covehead Bay.
